This summer our specially decorated bar and terrace will play host to a series of events celebrating the best of the British countryside – from tastings and masterclasses with local suppliers to trips out for guests to learn quintessential pastimes such as trout fishing and clay pigeon shooting. Alongside magnificent views of Tower Bridge and a menu packed with hearty, home-from-home classics, the Chop House Country Club is the perfect place for you to eat, drink and do this summer.   Spend a summer’s day out learning trout fishing with the Chop House! Join us at 2pm for a delicious three-course lunch before embarking by coach to Thornwood Springs Trout Fishery, set in open countryside adjacent to Epping Forest. Guided by experts with a lake reserved exclusively for the group, you’ll not only learn the basics of trout fishing but also get to take home the fish you caught too (one per person). After fishing, guests will be transported back to the Chop House for a drinks and canapé reception overlooking Tower Bridge. This day-long experience is priced at £125 per person, including a three-course lunch, coach transport, rod hire and guide.
