Things are heating up this January as we are having a little ‘healthy competition’ with our friends at Paternoster Chop House!
Brace yourselves as Head Chef Behzad is going head to head with Paternoster Head Chef El-Shazly in the ultimate vegan (yes you heard it!) battle.
Entering into the spirit of Veganuary, both Head Chefs have created their very own vegan steak for you to try at the restaurants this January.
Enjoy El- Shazly’s Roasted Cauliflower steak, spinach hummus, rocket salad, and Behzad’s Fable meatloaf, green beans, togarashi spiced baby onions, ponzu emulsion, made with fantastically meaty mushrooms.
Who wins? YOU decide. Keep your eyes peeled for the competition on Facebook and Instagram, and simply vote for your favourite in the comments. The winning steak will be announced on Friday 21st January, and we will also be selecting a winner at random from our comments to enjoy a complimentary meal for two at the Chop Houses, featuring our special vegan steaks.
